Civil Engineering Professor Named Educator of the Year

The Philadelphia Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) honored Dr. Andrew Bechtel as Educator of the Year for 2021. Dr. Bechtel is an Associate Professor and Chair for the Department of Civil Engineering at TCNJ. ASCE is the oldest engineering society in the United States, representing over 150,000 members across 177 countries. Dr. Bechtel is an active member of ASCE, previously serving as a director of the Philadelphia Section, and reviewer for the ASCE Journal of Composites for Construction and ASCE Journal of Bridge Engineering.
