The TCNJ Student Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineering (ITE) received their student charter during the ITE New York & New Jersey Metropolitan Section meeting on April 16th, 2014. ITE was founded in 1930 as a scientific association of transportation professionals responsible for safety and mobility needs throughout the country. ITE is also a standards development organization designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT). With a new student chapter on campus, ITE at TCNJ in the spring of 2014 and is always looking for new members.
